Pictures From A Secret Place In The Blue Ridge Mountains
After noticing the many strange rock formations around my mountain farm I soon came to the conclusion that they were man made. Searching the internet I was surprised and intrigued by a number of blogs devoted to the study of similar stone structures which apparently are quite prevalent in the woods of New England. At first I was skeptical but the more I read and the more I look at what we have here I'm becoming convinced that the area around our farm was a very special place to some ancient peoples.
The picture above is the last of the rocks in the hollow. This is just about where the spring emerges.
